The Jacksonville Retriever Club is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to train retrievers for AKC field trials and hunt tests.

We hold four events each year at the Lazy J Ranch near Williston, Fl, which is a 25-minute drive from Gainesville, FL.

The events are: The January Club Trial / Annual Meeting/ Business meeting and Banquet, the February Hunt Test, the March Field Trial and the October Field Trial.

Our club membership continues to grow every year and features an array of retriever enthusiasts: pros, amateurs; hunt testers, field trialers; as well as breeders and hunters.

All have different objectives, but share a passion for their dogs.

Many of our members have been training and trialing for decades, but all of us started somewhere. Newcomers are welcomed!
